Ipswich Hockey is calling for all interested parties to submit nominations for ALL 2026 Ipswich Representative SELECTOR positions.

It is expected that appointed Selectors will be available for all trial sessions and arranged trial games. Selectors may be required to attend training sessions if teams need to be evaluated.

While all trials and training sessions for Opens, U18, U16 and U14 teams generally take place on a Monday evening, additional sessions on different days may be scheduled as deemed necessary. Trial games may also be scheduled for days outside of regular Monday training.

The nominations of multiple teams in each age group/division is possibility, therefore multiple Selectors may be required.

All Selectors, Coaches and Managers must complete the following courses and upload their certificates/badges with this nomination:

Sports Integrity - 1. Anti-Doping Fundamentals, 2. Annual Update, 3. Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport (Masters support staff EXEMPT) 4. Decision Making in Sport
Hockey Australia (accessed via Hockey QLD ) - Safe Hockey - Expected Behaviours

PLEASE NOTE: ALL COACHES, MANAGERS AND SELECTORS OF TEAMS UNDER 18 ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO HOLD A VALID BLUE CARD TO BE APPOINTED.
