Calling for player nominations for 2026 Ipswich Under 16 Girls.

The Ipswich Under 16 Girls will compete at the Under 16 State Championships - 20 - 23 September 2026 at Rockhampton Hockey Association.

Trials will officially commence on Monday 29 June 2026. The team will be announced 29 July, after trials and final selections are complete.

All Rep players must complete the Safe Hockey - Expected Behaviours course and upload their certificate at the time of nomination. Please see attached information for instuctions to access this course - Instructions to access Safe Hockey - Expected Behaviours course

To be eligible to represent Ipswich at the Under 16 State Championships, athletes MUST be primary registered with Ipswich Hockey Association and it is suggested that only athletes born 2010 - 2012 inclusive nominate.

It is expected that all players will be available for any organised trials and training, of which generally takes place on a Monday evening. Additional trial and/or training sessions may also be scheduled as required, at the discretion of Ipswich Hockey.

Within the Under 16 Girl's program there is the possibility of arranged trial games on a day other than the general Monday training evening, and at another association. This includes Southern Cross - Sunday 2 August at Toowoomba.  It is expected that players are available for these trial games.

Travel and accommodation arrangements for State Championships at Rockhampton will be available shortly on our Website.

Final nominations CLOSE Friday 26 June 2026.

No late nominations will be accepted however nominations may be reopened at the discretion of Ipswich Hockey.  A confirmation email is sent once your nomination is received.
