Calling for player nominations for 2025 Ipswich Under 16 Girls.

The Ipswich Under 16 Girl's program will officially commence with TRIALS on Monday 7th July 2025.

At this stage, Trials/Training will be 6:00 - 7:30 pm on Field 1.

The Ipswich Under 16 Girls will compete at the Under 16 Southern Cross Competition | Toowoomba - 10th August 2025.

The Ipswich Under 14 Girls will compete at the Under 16 State Championships | Gold Coast - 21st September - 24th September 2025.

To be eligible to represent Ipswich at the Under 16 State Championships, it is preferred that those nominating be born 2009 -2011 inclusive, and MUST be Primary registered with Ipswich Hockey Association. Younger players MAY be considered on a case by case basis, particularly if it enables a second team to be nominated.

It is expected that all players will be available for any organised trials and training, of which generally takes place on a Monday evening. Attendatance Southern Cross Shield Carnival is also expected. Additional trial and/or training sessions may also be scheduled as required, at the discretion of Ipswich Hockey.

Within the Under 16 Girl's program there is the possibility of arranged trial games, these could occur on a day other than the general Monday training evening, and at another association. It is also expected that players are available for these trial games, within reason.

Travel and accommodation arrangements for these State Championships are yet to be confirmed.

Nominations close on Friday 4th July 2025.
