This form is for 2027 Ipswich Representative COACH Nominations!

Ipswich Hockey is calling for all interested parties to submit nominations for ALL 2027 Ipswich Representative COACH Positions.

Please note: As a trial in 2027, U14 & U16 teams will be given the option to travel and be accommodated with parents. Players whose parents are unable to attend the championships will still travel, be accommodated with and be the responsibility of the team officials.

Open Women	N/A	30 April - 3 May in Brisbane (multiple venues)
Masters Men	N/A	30 April - 3 May in Toowoomba
Masters Women	N/A	11 - 13 June in Toowoomba

It is expected that appointed coaches will be available for all trial and training sessions, arranged trial games, and all carnivals and championships.

While all trials and training sessions for Opens, U18, U16 and U14 teams generally take place on a Monday evening, additional sessions on different days may be scheduled as deemed necessary. Trial games may also be scheduled for days outside of regular Monday training.

Appointed coaches will also form a part of the selection panel.

The nominations of multiple teams in each age group/division is a possibility, therefore multiple Coaches may be required.

All Coaches must complete the following courses and upload their certificates/badges with this nomination:

Sports Integrity (You need to create your own user name and password for this) - 1. Anti-Doping Fundamentals, 2. Annual Update, 3. Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport (Masters support staff EXEMPT) 4. Decision Making in Sport
Hockey Australia (accessed via Hockey QLD (login with your National ID number)) - 1. Safe Hockey - Expected Behaviours (must be updated each year), 2. Foundation Support Coach, 3. Coaching Considerations for Juniors (Masters support staff EXEMPT)

PLEASE NOTE: ALL COACHES OF TEAMS UNDER 18 ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO HOLD A VALID BLUE CARD TO BE APPOINTED.
